altavena.store is operated by Altavena, an information catalogue. If you have a question on your personal data, email privacy@altavena.store.
The name and phone number you enter in the order form, the product page you were on, and simple technical information about the visit, such as the IP address in the server log. Card details and M-Pesa information are not collected.
We pass your request to the supplier of the product so that its consultant can phone you, confirm your order and organise delivery.
Your data is handled under the Data Protection Act, 2019, with your consent given by submitting the form as the basis.
The supplier's call centre and, via it, the delivery rider. The request is sent on as a message through Telegram. We do not sell data and we build no advertising profiles.
This site holds no customer database. Requests are forwarded and the server logs are wiped after a short time. The supplier keeps its order records for as long as the law says it must.
Email privacy@altavena.store to see, correct or delete your data, or to object to how it is used. You can also lodge a complaint with the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner (odpc.go.ke).
